College admissions officers at highly selective institutions spend an average of 8-12 minutes per application.
The numbers– your GPA, SAT/ACT, and AP scores– can strengthen your application. However, your story, or how you characterize yourself through your Common App and supplemental essays, will make or break your acceptance.
